February 2016 Software Updates


We are pleased to announce that we will be releasing February’s software update on Thursday 18th February at 7am GMT. As usual, updates are applied automatically to your system, and no action is required from you. There will no downtime.


Improvements to stock management feature and the ability to add multiple suppliers

As we continue to work closely with our customers to ensure we make the changes that are the most important, we are continuing to improve our stock management system so it is as effective as possible for all of our customers. We have added the ability to stock-take with a single reason. We have also added the ability to add multiple suppliers for a product.

Increased functionality added to the bulk import feature

We have created new and improved import sheets, which will now cater to multiple choice products. The new import sheet will allow you to import all extras. For example, all sauces, and add-on options (such as tomato ketchup, cheese) will be associated with items (such as a burger) in one bulk method, instead of having to add them individually. The improvements we have made to the import sheet for master products will now allow you to associate a "child" product. For example, adding a keg of beer, will allow you to break this down into pints in one bulk method instead of having to add them individually.

Improvements to the product creation page

You can now select and enter a product group on "Products Page", and can also filter by product group on product list page. This now enables you to designate a product group in a much easier way when adding new products.

February 2016 Software Updates

Additional units of measure added

We have added the ability for you to use pounds (lbs) as a form of measurement for master products. This functionality is available on both the UK and the US versions of our software.
