We’re Proud at Epos Now: Celebrating Pride Month with the World
We’ve grown a lot in the last few years. We’ve sold thousands of POS systems, expanded into other countries, and changed an industry. Along the way, we’ve learned that it’s vital to stay open to different ways of being.
The beginning of June marks the start of Pride Month. Over the next few weeks, LGBTQIA+ communities all over the world will gather together to celebrate sexual diversity in all its forms.
Parades, events, showcases, and activities of all kinds will take over the streets of the world’s towns and cities, marking the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.
Pride Month is a great opportunity to reflect on how we approach one another, how to overcome prejudices, and how we can do more to incorporate perspectives that make our lives richer and more meaningful.
At Epos Now, Pride Month isn’t a quick grasp at social relevance. Diversity, inclusion, tolerance, and compassion are very important to us. Every day, we strive to do everything we can to make sure all viewpoints are included in everything we do. We also constantly seek out new perspectives to make the lives of the Epos Now family better.
We also know that supporting Pride Month isn’t an end in itself. It’s the start of a continuing process - to strive to be a diverse and inclusive workplace that makes everyone part of the business, no matter who they are or how they contribute.
No matter who you are, connect with your friends, family, co-workers, and community members. Keep an open mind and celebrate differences. Rethink ways of communicating and relating to help foster a wider view of the world. And look out for one another. Do everything you can to ensure the safety and wellbeing of those around you, and to speak up about inclusion and diversity.
