Release 2.116 BO error message1

We have updated the design of the error pop-up messages in the Back Office and made the message more tailored to the user's needs.

Furthermore, a link to the support page, as well as translations have been added to the pop-up to help improve customer experience.

We have released an update to LoyaltyDog that will synchronize Epos Now's customer database with LoyaltyDog's database.  

With this update, you can now add and delete loyalty members via Epos Now or LoyaltyDog.

1. Adding a customer on the Epos Now Till adds the customer to the loyalty program. An SMS and an email with a link to the loyalty pass will be sent to the customer

2. No scan is required to award points  - doing a transaction from the Epos Now Till automatically awards points to the loyalty customer

3. No scan is required to redeem points - simply click the LoyaltyDog icon after adding products to the customer's transaction.

Release 2.116 MFA

We have updated our multi factor authentication to include SMS.

From now on, you can make your account more secure by adding SMS as a second step for login authentication.

To set up this new method, go to:

Back Office > profile page > go to the section: multi factor authentication and add a mobile phone number > choose “SMS” as the preferred method of receiving your unique code.

Once this is completed, a code will be sent to your device via SMS, which you will need to enter into the multi factor authentication screen to confirm the new settings.

This new feature will be launched on February 28, 2023.

Release 2.116 Xero suspension

We will soon have "App Suspension" mode live for apps, starting with the Sage Business integration and then followed by the Xero integration.

This upcoming release will allow apps to be placed in "App Suspension" mode when subscription payments fail, helping customers preserve their existing app configurations rather than forcing an auto-uninstall, which historically removes all of the app's settings.
