ENHANCEMENT: Faster till experience
We’ve made major improvements behind the scenes to deliver a faster, more responsive till experience. Key workflows like adding products to the basket, applying discounts, updating item quantities, and taking orders on tables and tabs have been optimised to reduce processing times. By cutting down the number of background queries, transactions are now faster, smoother, and more reliable, helping your staff serve customers more efficiently, especially during busy periods.
We’ve also enhanced CloudSync - the service that keeps your till updated with the latest data from your cloud Back Office. Changes like product updates and price adjustments now sync faster, ensuring your system stays accurate and up-to-date with minimal interruption.
These improvements are being gradually rolled out over the next few weeks, so you’ll start to experience a faster and smoother till without needing to do anything on your end.
MINOR FIXES
- Reporting - Performance improvements to stock level report: We have made further improvements to the Stock Levels Report to enhance performance and reduce load times.
- Reporting - Export bug in new transaction report: An intermittent issue, causing the export to stop before all pages were included, has now been fixed.
