We’re happy to announce a new feature that will give you greater control over your product availability.

Recognizing the fast and unpredictable nature of inventory changes during service, we're introducing a new feature that enables you to manually designate an item as '86ed' directly from the Front Till. 

With this addition, you can instantly indicate items as unavailable on your POS system, reducing any possible confusion and ensuring that your staff and customers always have the latest information.

Cash discounting allows Epos Now Payment merchants to grant cash discounts as a percentage of the total bill.

This feature can save merchants cash on their processing fees and will help to encourage their customers to pay their bills faster. 

By enabling this feature, the Till will display the discounted cash price on the tender for staff reference, allow them to add the preset discount to the total (when a cash payment is chosen), and view the cash discounts that have been given on their Back Office report.

Our new card surcharging feature allows our Epos Now Payments merchants to add an extra fee or charge to a transaction when a customer pays with a credit or debit card. 

Surcharging is a way for merchants to pass on these costs to the cardholder, rather than absorbing them into the overall price of goods or services. 

This additional fee is meant to cover the processing costs incurred by the business when accepting card payments.

  • "Remove from table" staff role defect fixed - Issue resolved where some customers were seeing that the staff role for removing orders from a table wasn't working to restrict some staff from removing items.
  • App crashes when opening the completed orders page - Some customers were experiencing an app crash when opening the completed orders tab, this has now been resolved.
  • Receipt showing VAT in tax description rather than GST - Customers in NZ and Canada were experiencing receipts showing VAT rather than the correct GST label.
  • Epos Now My Business - Improvements on the list of transactions: all the items are now being shown and they appear as the user keeps scrolling down
  • Epos Now My Business - A payout FAQ screen was added when the user clicks on the "i" button on payout: we added the questions from the payout FAQ that explain to the user how the process occurs
  • Epos Now My Business - Infobox about not being able to transfer directly to the account: this way we will prevent errors when the user sees their IBAN and tries to transfer to it
  • Epos Now My Business - Changes to the transfer flow: if the user doesn't have any payees and clicks on "transfer money" they are now able to create a payee inside the flow and continue to the transfer without the need to change between flows (manage a payee and make a transfer)
  • Epos Now My Business - Changes to the size button: all buttons had their height standardized and now we are complying with the accessibility requirements
