We're delighted to announce the addition of the Completed Transaction Report to our platform. This feature has been crafted to empower businesses with faster insights and more flexible data analysis tools.

Features include:

  • 30-day transaction window - Retrieve transactions within any given 30-day period, offering you the flexibility to analyse recent business activities effectively.
  • Filtered transaction downloads - Conveniently download transactions based on your filters, making it easier to share, analyse, or archive specific data sets.
  • Custom trading week & time frames - Adjust the report to reflect your unique business operations. Whether you run weekly summaries or specific trading days, the new report has you covered.
  • Column customization for retail & hospitality - Select between column sets specifically designed for retail or hospitality sectors. Tailor the report to suit the nuances of your business model.

Completed transaction report

In some tax exclusive regions like the US and Canada, a discount can only be applied to an item after tax has been applied. For these merchants, we have introduced a new setting on the Till that allows discounts to be applied after tax has been calculated.

To apply a discount after a tax has been applied go to Till settings > Tax > Enable 'Apply discounts after tax' (see image right numbered 1).

Please note: Before using the above feature, please first enable the setting ‘Show inclusive/exclusive tax’ (see image right numbered '2'). You can do this by going to Back Office > Setup > Company > Enable 'show inc/exc tax option').

Payment terminals with an incorrectly listed IP address in the Back Office will now be ignored if a transaction fails on the listed address. Instead, the address that the system acquired automatically will be tried.

Card Payments

Last month we enabled Card Surcharging for our Epos Now Payments customers in Australia.

While our customers loved the new capabilities, they were asking us to reduce the number of taps when a customer decided to tap their card or phone.

We’ve listened to your feedback and now customers will only have to tap their card once when making a purchase via Epos Now Payments in Australia.
