Epos Now 2.127 Release Notes

Released 8 August 2023

Default terminal PINs can now be found on the Payments Terminal Settings page in the Back Office.

By identifying your terminal PIN, merchants can check the card terminal's historical transactions or access its admin & settings.

  • Use the Transactions PIN on your card terminal if you are not sure a transaction went through.
  • Use the admin & settings PIN to help you modify elements of your card terminal

You will no longer need to close your online orders manually each time, or at the end of the day via the Close Till functionality.

Auto-closing online orders will not impact the 'New Web Order' notification, or the print functionality. The only noticeable change will be that instead of going into 'Ordered' transaction status, they will go straight into 'Completed' transaction status. Meaning no further interaction with the transaction is needed.

  • New currency - We now support the Vanuatu Vatu currency. To set this up, go to Back Office > Set up > Company details > Select Vanuatu Vatu as the custom currency.
  • New API released - use this new endpoint to get the sales summary for a given date range (click here for the new endpoint).
  • Epos Now Payments - We have reinstated the filter by location option which we had to temporarily suspend for some customers.
  • On release 2.124 we made a fix to an issue on location-specific pricing, unfortunately, after some customer feedback and assessment, we have identified unforeseen consequences associated with this change. As a result, we have reverted the change to ensure the reliability of the reports.
  • Defect fix - Multiple choice products pop-up would display when the pay button was pressed.
