Correction to Your Epos Now Payments Fees
Dear merchant,
We’re writing to let you know about an error in the way your Epos Now Payments transaction fees have been billed.
Since 11 April 2025, premium card transactions have been charged at a rate of 2.5%. Premium cards include American Express, JCB, and UnionPay. Unfortunately, this rate was applied incorrectly to your account.
To put things right, we will automatically credit your account on 1 September 2025 for the overcharged fees covering transactions between 11 April and 31 August 2025.
How your credit will be calculated
(Transaction amount × 2.5% premium card rate) minus (Transaction amount × [original card rate] %)
Premium card charges from 1 September 2025
From 1 September 2025 onward, premium card transactions will be charged at the rate of 2.5%.
Premium cards include American Express, JCB, and UnionPay. All other card transactions, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Diners Club cards will continue to be charged at your original fixed rate of [original card rate]%.
If you would like to opt out of accepting premium cards, please go to your Back Office.
